Income measures were created in the budget
The Special Rapporteur of the Prime Minister Haroon Akhar Khan and the new Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail held the post-budget press conference to answer budgetary questions.
Both Miftah and Haroon yesterday declared the historical budget presented by the Muslim League in power of Pakistan-Nawaz (PML-N).
Both discussed the visionary policy of the Tax Office (FBI), which was made to facilitate people. The FBR turnover doubles with 20% growth, after the duo. "An ADR committee has been formed and its decision is binding, which is a great relief for the business community," Haroon said.

Both also focused on the most important income tax measures. "Super taxes are 1%, 3% for companies and 4% for banks, they will end in the next few years," said Miftah. Regarding the bonus promotions that received criticism and attention from the people, Haroon said that the team had been discussing for two years whether the implementation would continue or not. "If we promote bonus promotions, the transactions will increase and benefit the country," he said.
The duo also said that the current government has led to a tax rebate of 5% at a rate of 1% per annum. "We will lower it," he added.
Speaking of dividend payout conditions, Miftah said, "It's a good condition to force companies to pay dividends to shareholders and impose a small 5% tax if they do not."
Miftah and Haroon also said that export promotion should increase and import dependency should go bankrupt. "Tariffs on raw materials are low, local industries need protection, our budget is focused on local industries," he said. Taxes on the film industry, automobile production, LED lights, coal port, customs duties, sales tax on fire trucks, due to its high demand has been reduced to 10% have all been reduced.
"For all those who say that this budget is just give and take, it is not, it guarantees that income measures will increase," Miftah said. Taxes on cigarettes, cement and steel have increased.
Miftah and Haroon have also worked out the "Year of Discovery", which shows that if foreign transactions exceed Rs 10 million then they will be asked if the money is justified, otherwise taxes will be introduced.

"Important things we involve, exchanging information with banks and working with NADRA to help us find more taxpayers," said Miftah, the latest idea being presented by the duo.
In answering the questions, Miftah said that if the ruling party was happier than the PPP government, then "it's not our fault," he smiled.
